💙 AVAILABLE – TEX IS LOOKING FOR HIS FOREVER FAMILY 💙

Many of you remember Tex (Todd from our Griswolds Christmas litter). Today, at just 18 months old, he is searching for a new home—not because of anything he has done, but because life sometimes brings circumstances that are completely out of our control.

Tex’s dad has recently been diagnosed with cancer and is now undergoing chemotherapy treatments. Between treatments, countless doctor’s appointments, and the physical toll cancer has taken, caring for an energetic young Great Dane has simply become more than he is able to manage. His wife is now focused on caring for her husband through this difficult journey, leaving little time to give Tex the attention and activity that a young Dane needs and deserves.

Making the decision to return Tex was absolutely heartbreaking for them. It came from love, not convenience. They wanted to make sure he had the opportunity to live the full, happy life they can no longer provide during this incredibly difficult season. I know they would appreciate your prayers as they continue this fight together.

Now it’s my turn to find Tex another amazing family.

Tex is an incredibly sweet, affectionate boy with the happiest personality. He absolutely loves people, enjoys playing outside, and still has that goofy puppy spirit that Great Danes are so loved for. He’s always excited to be involved in whatever you’re doing and thrives on love and attention.

Like many adolescent Great Danes, Tex is still learning that he isn’t a tiny puppy anymore. He could use a refresher on his manners, especially when it comes to jumping up to say hello and remembering just how big he is. With consistency, patience, and continued training, he is going to make an incredible companion.

Tex will be placed on a neuter agreement, and I will be very selective about where he goes. He deserves a family who understands the Great Dane breed and is committed to giving him the love, structure, and forever home he deserves.
