Whiskey is a beautiful girl who recently returned to us through no fault of her own. Her previous owner loved her deeply and ultimately felt she would thrive best in a home with more space to explore, more activity, and other canine companions to enjoy life with. He wanted her to have the lifestyle he felt she truly longed for.

Since returning to us, Whiskey has been fully evaluated and is current on all vaccinations and monthly preventatives. She is healthy, happy, spayed, and has already had a preventative gastropexy completed. She is now ready to find the perfect forever family.

Whiskey is from our Taylor Swift litter and has a very striking, uniquely “American” look to her. She is exceptionally tall and naturally lean with a very elegant physique. While she has a more refined build — almost reminiscent of a greyhound in her athleticism — she is absolutely healthy and unmistakably Great Dane.

She would do best in a home where she has room to stretch her legs, plenty of love and attention, and ideally other dogs or an active family to keep her engaged and happy.

Tex is happiest when he has his people to himself. He’s a true companion who wants lots of affection and one-on-one time.

👩‍💻 HOME OFTEN — A retired person/couple, someone who works from home, or a family with a lifestyle that allows for plenty of companionship would be ideal.

🐕 ONLY DOG, PLEASE — We believe Tex will be happiest as the ONLY DOG in the home. He doesn’t particularly enjoy sharing his space—or his people—with our other Danes, especially our male. Tex wants that undivided attention, and we’d love to get him back into an environment where he can have it. 🥰

🚪 DOGGY-DOOR ACCUSTOMED — He is used to having access to a doggy door.

🤪 GOOFY TEENAGE DANE ENERGY — He’s still a young boy, so his new family needs to be willing to continue providing structure, boundaries, and consistency.

💙 AVAILABLE – TEX IS LOOKING FOR HIS FOREVER FAMILY 💙

Many of you remember Tex (Todd from our Griswolds Christmas litter). Today, at just 18 months old, he is searching for a new home—not because of anything he has done, but because life sometimes brings circumstances that are completely out of our control.

Tex’s dad has recently been diagnosed with cancer and is now undergoing chemotherapy treatments. Between treatments, countless doctor’s appointments, and the physical toll cancer has taken, caring for an energetic young Great Dane has simply become more than he is able to manage. His wife is now focused on caring for her husband through this difficult journey, leaving little time to give Tex the attention and activity that a young Dane needs and deserves.

Making the decision to return Tex was absolutely heartbreaking for them. It came from love, not convenience. They wanted to make sure he had the opportunity to live the full, happy life they can no longer provide during this incredibly difficult season. I know they would appreciate your prayers as they continue this fight together.

Now it’s my turn to find Tex another amazing family.

Tex absolutely loves his people, enjoys playing outside, and still has that goofy puppy spirit that Great Danes are so loved for. He’s always excited to be involved in whatever you’re doing and thrives on love and attention.
